NEW YORK - Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evan Rodrigues has been fined $2,500, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for a dangerous trip against Ottawa Senators forward Zach Sanford during NHL Game No. 212 in Ottawa on Saturday, Nov. 13, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 6:43 of the third period.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
