"I was going to pick up my standard pregame pizza and I opened the box and there was a little message from the guys that worked at Panago," Kane said.
"I thought that was pretty funny actually. It was unexpected."
Obviously the mystery worker at Panago was a hockey fan and recognized the name on the order.
"I called them to order it and have to put your name down when you order it, so they had that preplanned," Kane said.
Kane, for what it's worth, scored a goal in a 5-2 victory against the Oilers after his prognosticating pregame meal.
There was, we assume, no extra charge for the prediction.
