Gascon

Eve Gascon became the first woman to win a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game in 22 years on Friday. The only other woman to win a QMJHL game was goalie Charline Labonte who played for Acadie-Bathurst Titan in 2000.

The 18-year-old goalie made 23 saves to lead Gatineau Olympiques to a 7-3 victory against Drummondville Voltigeurs.
The victory comes just two weeks after
Gascon became the third female to play in the QMJHL
on March 19th.
After the game, Gascon's teammates doused her with water as she entered the locker room.

She also received player of the game honors.

Onto the next milestone.
