NOTE: Please note that these predictions are bold yet feasible scenarios that, in many cases, contradict NHL.com's top 250 rankings and player stat projections.
ANA - Ondrej Kase steals the top-line right wing spot from veteran Corey Perry and finishes third on the Anaheim Ducks in points with at least 60 behind Ryan Getzlaf and Rickard Rakell.
ARI - Oliver Ekman-Larsson will bounce back for the Arizona Coyotes and finish among the top five defensemen in power-play points with an NHL career high of 30.
BOS- Left wing Jake DeBrusk will score at least 30 goals for the Boston Bruins this season, outscoring one of Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak or Patrice Bergeron.
BUF- Right wing Tage Thompson will earn a top-six role for the Buffalo Sabres and score at least 20 goals and 45 points on a line with either Jack Eichel or rookie Casey Mittelstadt.
CAR- With large roles for the Carolina Hurricanes under new coach Rod Brind'Amour, forwards Andrei Svechnikov, Martin Necas and Valentin Zykov will each finish top 10 in points among rookies.
CBJ - Oliver Bjorkstrand will be the Columbus Blue Jackets' highest goal-scoring wing with at least 30 goals, ahead of Artemi Panarin and Cam Atkinson.
CHI- Alex DeBrincat will not only solidify a top-six role but also lead the Chicago Blackhawks in points, ahead of Patrick Kane, with at least 75.

CGY- James Neal will lead the Calgary Flames in goals with 35 on the top line and first power play with Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau, his most in a single season since 2011-12 (when he played with Evgeni Malkin for Pittsburgh Penguins).
COL- Samuel Girard will lead Colorado Avalanche defensemen in PPP with at least 20, cutting into Tyson Barrie's spot on the first unit.
DAL- Under new coach Jim Montgomery, Dallas Stars rookie Miro Heiskanen will lead rookie defensemen in scoring with 40 points, finishing ahead of Rasmus Dahlin (Sabres).
DET- Forward Tyler Bertuzzi will stick on the top line for the Detroit Red Wings with Dylan Larkin and Anthony Mantha and will be fantasy-relevant with at least 50 points, 150 hits and 200 shots on goal.
EDM- Kailer Yamamoto will lock down a top-six right wing spot with elite center Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl and finish third on the Edmonton Oilers with at least 50 points in his rookie season.
FLA- Mike Hoffman will help the Florida Panthers finish among the NHL's top five in power-play percentage and will lead the group with a career high of at least 30 power-play points.
LAK- Ilya Kovalchuk will make an immediate impact for the Los Angeles Kings, finishing top 10 in the NHL in goals with at least 35 on a line with Anze Kopitar or Jeff Carter.
MIN- Devan Dubnyk, tied with Braden Holtby for the NHL lead in shutouts since 2014-15 (21), will lead all goalies with a career high of at least eight for the Minnesota Wild.
MTL- Center Jesperi Kotkaniemi will make the Montreal Canadiens and lead them in points with at least 55 as a rookie on a Finnish line with Joel Armia and Artturi Lehkonen.

NJD@MTL: Kotkaniemi lights the lamp in Habs debut

NJD- Sami Vatanen will capture the top power-play role from Will Butcher and set NHL career highs for the New Jersey Devils in points with at least 45 and PPP with at least 25.
NSH- Ryan Ellis will lead Nashville Predators defensemen in goals with at least 17 and points with at least 55, finishing ahead of teammates P.K. Subban and Roman Josi.
NYI- Anthony Beauvillier will play left wing with Mathew Barzal over a full season, finishing with at least 65 points to outscore New York Islanders teammates Anders Lee and Jordan Eberle.
NYR- Pavel Buchnevich will thrive under new coach David Quinn on the top line and first power-play unit to lead the New York Rangers in scoring with 60 points.
OTT- Rookie Brady Tkachuk will lead the Ottawa Senators in goals with at least 25 and points with at least 55 in a top-line, first power-play role.
PIT- Goaltender Matt Murray will bounce back from a forgettable season to lead NHL in wins with 43 and also finish among the top five fantasy goalies based on peripherals.

PHI - Ivan Provorov will lead Philadelphia Flyers defensemen in points with at least 55, finishing ahead of Shayne Gostisbehere.
SJS- Forward Timo Meier will break out in a top-six role and lead San Jose Sharks forwards in goals with at least 30 and SOG with at least 250.
STL- Goaltender Jake Allen will regain the full-time starting job and finish top five in the NHL with at least 38 wins to lead the St. Louis Blues back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
TBL- Playing on the top line with elite forwards Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos, J.T. Miller will shatter his NHL career-high in points for the Tampa Bay Lightning with at least 70, PPP with at least 20 and SOG with at least 200.
TOR- Forward Zach Hyman, on a line with John Tavares and Mitchell Marner, will join teammate Auston Matthews among the top 10 even-strength goal-scorers with at least 25.
VAN- Forward Elias Pettersson will latch on with Brock Boeser at even strength and/or on the power play and win the Calder Trophy by leading all rookies with at least 65 points.
VGK- Right wing Alex Tuch will finish third on the Vegas Golden Knights in goals with at least 28 on the second line with either Max Pacioretty or Jonathan Marchessault.
WPG- Jack Roslovic will finish among the top 20 forwards in assists on a line with potential 50-goal scorer Patrik Laine and Nikolaj Ehlers (at least 25 goals in back-to-back seasons).
WSH- Under new coach Todd Reirden, wing Jakub Vrana will hold a top-six role all season and finish second among Washington Capitals forwards in goals with at least 30 behind Alex Ovechkin.
