Yahoo fantasy position updates for 2016-17

Yahoo has released its 2016-17 fantasy hockey game, and there were some major changes in player position eligibility.
Of the 124 forwards in NHL.com's top 200, 54 had their position(s) altered, with many losing one. The most notable changes have affected top five assets Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks (now RW only) and Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals (now LW only), as well as the two (previous) dual-eligible defensemen, Brent Burns of the San Jose Sharks and Dustin Byfuglien of the Winnipeg Jets (now D only).

The eight tri-eligible players among NHL.com's top 200, Joe Pavelski (Sharks), Filip Forsberg (Nashville Predators), Ryan O'Reilly (Buffalo Sabres), Tyler Toffoli (Los Angeles Kings), Patrick Sharp (Dallas Stars), Jussi Jokinen (Florida Panthers), Jiri Hudler (Stars) and Gustav Nyquist (Detroit Red Wings), have had their eligibilities reduced. Forsberg and Jokinen, who are now only eligible at LW, took the biggest hits from that bunch.
Forwards Robby Fabbri (now C/LW), of the St. Louis Blues, Teuvo Teravainen (now LW/RW), of the Carolina Hurricanes, and Sam Reinhart, (now C/RW) of the Sabres, are the three players who have gone from single to dual eligibility in Yahoo leagues.
