Forsberg attends Nashville SC game as team's new owner

Filip Forsberg made it to the pitch on Wednesday.

The Nashville Predators forward and new Nashville SC minority owner attended the club's match against San Antonio FC at GEODIS Park in Nashville.

"First game [attending] for the season. Really excited to get a part of it," Forsberg said in a video posted by Nashville SC on Twitter. "You can see the boys are warming up out here, so let's go. Let's go SC."

Teammates Roman Josi, Ryan McDonagh and Tyson Barrie also attended the game.

Forsberg became a minority owner of Nashville SC when he joined the team's ownership group alongside NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo in March.
