Carter Verhaeghe 4.13

Carter Verhaeghe is week to week for the Florida Panthers with an upper-body injury.

He was injured late in a 4-1 loss at the Dallas Stars on Saturday, coach Joel Quenneville said. The forward has scored 17 goals this season, second on Florida behind Aleksander Barkov 18, and is third with 35 points.
The Panthers won 3-2 at the Stars in overtime Tuesday in their first game without him.
Forward Anthony Duclair had an assist and played 18:28 Tuesday after being activated off injured reserve earlier in the day. He missed six games with a shoulder injury sustained when he crashed into the boards during a game against the Detroit Red Wings on March 30.
"It feels like forever," Duclair said before the game. "I'm just happy to be back. It's always not ideal being on the sidelines watching the boys, but I'm glad that I'm back and ready to get going in a bounce-back game tonight."
Duclair has scored 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) in 30 games this season.
Also on Tuesday, the Panthers activated forward Lucas Wallmark and goalie Spencer Knight from the taxi squad and loaned defenseman Kevin Connauton to the taxi squad. Wallmark and Knight did not dress for the game.
Wallmark was acquired Thursday with defenseman Lucas Carlsson in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks for forwards Brett Connolly and Henrik Borgstrom, defenseman Riley Stillman and a seventh-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
Florida (27-12-4) is tied for first with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes in the eight-team Discover Central Division. The top four teams will qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
