COLUMBUS-- The Columbus Blue Jackets extended their point streak to six games and ended the Florida Panthers' five-game winning streak with a 7-3 win at Nationwide Arena on Thursday.

Columbus broke a 3-3 tie with third-period goals by Markus Hannikainen, Anthony Duclair, Josh Anderson and Boone Jenner.
Duclair, Cam Atkinson, Brandon Dubinsky, Jenner and Pierre-Luc Dubois each had a goal and an assist, Alex Wennberg had two assists, and Joonas Korpisalo made 38 saves for the Blue Jackets (11-6-2), who are 4-0-2 in the streak.

The Blue Jackets played without goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and forwards Artemi Panarin and Riley Nash because of illness.
"I'm sure a lot of guys in here aren't feeling their best," Dubinsky said. "It's that time of the year. Sometimes when you're not feeling well you dig a little deeper and find a little extra."
Mike Hoffman set a Panthers record with a 14-game point streak, getting the primary assist on a power-play goal by Aaron Ekblad for a 2-0 lead at 6:45 of the first period. Pavel Bure had a 13-game streak from March 10-April 5, 2000. Hoffman has 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) during his streak.

"Would have been better if we could have celebrated tonight, but we'll have to wait for another point," Hoffman said.
Florida forward Evgenii Dadonov had a 12-game point streak stopped. Nick Bjugstad and Keith Yandle scored, and Roberto Luongo made 30 saves for the Panthers (7-6-3).
"We looked tired tonight," Panthers coach Bob Boughner said. "We were sluggish mentally and physically after the first period. This is a game for me as a coach you've got to learn from."
Hannikainen put the Blue Jackets ahead 4-3 at 4:01 of the third period with his first goal of the season. Duclair made it 5-3 at 8:59, Anderson made it 6-3 at 12:57, and Jenner's goal at 14:51 made it 7-3.

The Panthers took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Bjugstad at 1:44 of the first period. After Ekblad's goal, Atkinson scored shorthanded 28 seconds into the second period to make it 2-1.
"The shorthanded goal seemed to give us some life," said Blue Jackets assistant Brad Shaw, who filled in postgame for coach John Tortorella, who was not feeling well. "The crowd got into it too, and the next thing you know we're up 3-2."
Luongo said, "Obviously it was a big goal for them. It was a bit lucky. It went off the stick of (Yandle). I thought I was on it, but it changed trajectory a little bit. It was a good goal for them and they went from there."
Dubinsky's second goal of the season made it 2-2 at 3:46 on a rebound of a Zach Werenski shot from the left point.
Dubois tied Atkinson for the Blue Jackets' lead with his ninth goal at 6:16 for a 3-2 lead.

"We're never out of the fight no matter if we're down] two goals or three goals," Atkinson said. "We're a team that's a resilient group and can crawl back into it."
Yandle tied it 3-3 at 13:12 of the second period with a tip-in off a
Vincent Trocheck pass on the power play.
On the game-winner,
[Zac Dalpe
passed into the slot, and Hannikainen spun around and put the puck past Luongo. Dalpe, who played at Ohio State, was called up Thursday afternoon from Cleveland of American Hockey League.
