Keith Yandle is officially Iron Man. At least the NHL's version of it.

The Philadelphia Flyers defenseman played his 965th consecutive game on Jan. 25 against the New York Islanders. On Saturday, the Flyers honored him for the record at Wells Fargo Center.
The team put together a video tribute featuring Yandle's past and present teammates congratulating him. The video also featured Doug Jarvis, who set the previous mark for consecutive NHL games played.
"All the players that have played this game know how hard it is to do it on a daily basis," Yandle's former teammate with the Arizona Coyotes Shane Doan said. "You've continued to do this longer than anybody else, that's just unbelievable."
"Want to send a big congratulations on an unbelievable record to one of the best teammates and funniest guys I've ever met." former New York Rangers teammate Ryan McDonagh said.
"[You inspire] guys like me will play through the injuries and battle. You're a true warrior," former Florida Panthers teammate Aleksander Barkov said.
Yandle hasn't missed a game since March 26, 2009, since skating a near 21,000 minutes on over 25,000 shifts.
"965 games in a row, that's unheard of," teammate Kevin Hayes said. "That's a crazy accomplishment. It couldn't have happened to a better guy."
After Yandle's family -- wife Kristin and daughters Mila and Lola -- came out on the ice for a hug, he was presented with a sterling silver puck, an engraved bottle of wine and a special crystal by Flyers president of hockey operations Chuck Fletcher.
Yandle skated back to the bench as "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath played throughout the arena.
