This is kind of tough. We are still kind of processing the night.
I felt like I thought we had a pretty a pretty good first period after allowing a goal in the first minute and getting out of there with the game tied at 1-1.
Then they just kind of put in a couple of goals there in the second and we just kind of lost momentum there and lost focus for a bit.
Then, the same thing, we're have a pretty good third period, but we're just fighting back and at that point. It's too late against a team like Colorado, which is a good team. The defending champs. So, it's tough. It is miserable.

I don't really know what it is. I don't know if we're putting too much pressure on ourselves. Honestly, I can't really pinpoint it right now. I think that might be the million-dollar answer, right? We'll just keep trusting in the process, trusting in ourselves and our coaching staff. We know we have some things to work on. But, you know, the only people that are going to get us out of this are us. We have to stick together here and just continue to work.
It was great to see 'Korpy' play his first game. It was a tough start for him with the goal in the first minute, but he played really well. If you are looking for positives from this, that is one.
I thought he was he was unreal tonight. Obviously first game back in a while coming back from injury and obviously it is in his home country. Pretty cool for him. Obviously, we would have liked to get the win for him. But I thought he really kept us in it. They scored five but it could have been a little more than that. He played well and we're excited to see what he can do in the next few weeks ahead.
For me, the big takeaway from all of this was just the opportunity to play in these games here in Finland. The atmosphere was unbelievable. It is something I will remember for a long time. I don't think many people get to do this, so I am thankful and feel very blessed.
Now it is time to go home. We fly out tomorrow, so I will try to get some sleep tonight and then it is a long flight back to Columbus tomorrow.
We land in the middle of the day, so I will try to stay up as long as I can on the plane and then, hopefully, I can get to bed by 9 or 10 tomorrow night.
I mean, honestly, I'll probably fall asleep for a bit. I mean, it's a long flight. If we get home and stay up till midnight, I can sleep well. Ten hours, 11 hours, I should be fine.
We have an off day on Monday, so it gives us some time to rest and regroup and reset so we can be ready for practice on Tuesday because we have a big week ahead of us.
