The Vegas Golden Knights will play the Winnipeg Jets in the Western Conference First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Golden Knights (51-22-9) won the Pacific Division and have home-ice advantage for the Western Conference playoffs. The Jets (46-33-3) are the second wild card into the playoffs from the West.
Game 1 will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday (9:30 p.m. ET; ESPN2, SNW, TVAS2).
Vegas is back in the playoffs after missing last season for the first time since it joined the League in 2017-18. It has won at least one round of the playoffs in three of its four seasons, reaching the Cup Final in 2017-18 and reaching the semifinal round in 2019-20 and 2020-21.
The Jets also missed the postseason last year after qualifying for four straight seasons.
Winnipeg and Vegas last played each other in the postseason in the 2018 Western Conference Final, with Vegas winning in five games.
The Golden Knights won all three games against the Jets this season, 5-2 on Oct. 20 in Las Vegas, 2-1 in overtime on Oct. 30 in Las Vegas and 6-5 on Dec. 13 in Winnipeg.
Forward Chandler Stephenson led the Golden Knights with five points (one goal, four assists) in the three games, and four other players -- forwards Jack Eichel, Jonathan Marchessault, Mark Stone and William Karlsson -- each had four points against Winnipeg.
Adin Hill was 3-0-0 with a .907 save percentage and 2.60 goals-against average in the three games for Vegas.
Forward Mark Scheifele (three goals), defenseman Neal Pionk (one goal, two assists) and center Adam Lowry (one goal, two assits), each led Winnipeg with three points against the Golden Knights.
In goal, Connor Hellebuyck was 0-1-1 with a 3.40 GAA and .913 save percentage and David Rittich was 0-1-1 with a 4.32 GAA and .871 save percentage.
The Golden Knights are led by Eichel, who has 66 points (27 goals, 39 assists) and Stephenson, who has 65 points (16 goals, 49 assists). They have used five goalies this season, with rookie Logan Thompson leading the way with a 21-13-3 record, .915 save percentage and 2.56 GAA in 37 games. But Thompson has not played since March 28 because of lower-body injury. Laurent Brossoit is 7-0-3 with a .927 save percentage and 2.17 GAA. He won his final five starts of the regular season.
Goalie Jonathan Quick, a two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Los Angeles Kings, was acquired by Vegas before the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline. In 10 games with the Golden Knights, he's 5-2-2 with a .901 save percentage and 3.13 GAA.
The Jets are led by forward Kyle Connor, who has 80 points (31 goals, 49 assists) and defenseman Josh Morrissey, who has 76 points (16 goals, 60 assists).
Hellebuyck leads Winnipeg with a 37-25-2 record, a .920 save percentage and 2.49 GAA.
Each team has a first-year coach, with Bruce Cassidy leading Vegas and Rick Bowness leading Winnipeg.
Neither team has won the Stanley Cup. The Jets have never reached the Cup Final.
