Gritty brings gift basket for Giroux's newborn after wife delivers baby

Claude Giroux is a new dad, and you'd better believe Gritty was prepared to shower his son with gifts.

The Philadelphia Flyers mascot prepared a gift basket for Giroux's newborn baby after the captain's wife, Ryanne, gave birth to the couple's first child Monday.

, was pictured holding the newborn in Ryanne's stories on Instagram. Gritty then flooded a locker stall made for Giroux's son with gifts, including diapers, a blanket, rubber duck, mini stick, ball and net, baby-sized skates, infant-sized Flyers jersey and stuffed Gritty doll.
He even threw in model/actress Chrissy Teigen's 2018 cookbook "Hungry for More," a lava lamp and poker set, though we suspect those are for the parents.
To no one's surprise, Gritty was ecstatic for the new parents.
