Bobby Brink
, a Philadelphia Flyers forward prospect in his third season at the University of Denver, was named one of the three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award on Thursday.

Goalie Dryden McKay of Minnesota State University and forward Ben Meyers of the University of Minnesota are the other two finalists.
The Hobey Baker Award is presented annually to recognize the top NCAA men's hockey player as voted on by all 61 NCAA Division I coaches and via online fan balloting. The winner will be announced at the Frozen Four in Boston on April 8.
Brink is the only player among the three finalists to be drafted by an NHL team. He was selected in the second round (No. 34) of the 2019 NHL Draft.

Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield won the award last season with the University of Wisconsin.

Bobby Brink, F, Denver

Brink leads the nation in assists (42) and points (56) in 39 games with Denver. The 20-year-old junior won the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Forward of the Year and Player of the Year. Brink won the NCHC scoring title with 35 points (nine goals, 26 assists) in conference play, 10 more than any other player, and tying the single season record in conference play. He ranks first in the country with a 1.44 points-per game average.

Dryden McKay, G, Minnesota State

A top-three finalist for the second straight season, McKay is 37-4-0 and ranks second in the nation with a 1.28 goals-against average, is tied for third with a .934 save percentage and is tied for second with 10 shutouts. McKay, a top-10 Hobey Baker finalist for the third straight year, has allowed two goals or fewer in 32 of his 38 games this season. Undrafted, the 24-year-old senior holds the NCAA Division I men's hockey record for career shutouts with 34, his most recent a 23-save performance in a 1-0 victory against the University of Notre Dame in the Albany Regional Final to advance to the Frozen Four. Minnesota State will play Minnesota in the Frozen Four in Boston on April 7.

Ben Meyers, F, Minnesota

Also undrafted, the 23-year-old junior was co-captain of the regular-season Big Ten champs, scoring 41 points (17 goals, 24 assists) in 33 games. He scored the winning goal and added an assist in the Worcester Regional semifinal in a 4-3 overtime win against University of Massachusetts and scored two assists in a 3-0 victory against Western Michigan University. He scored four points (two goals, two assists) in four games for the United States at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
