Carter Hutton and Ryan Dzingel each signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Hutton, a 35-year-old goalie who was an unrestricted free agent, was 1-10-1 with a 3.47 goals-against average and .886 save percentage in 13 games (12 starts) for the Buffalo Sabres last season.
Signed by the San Jose Sharks as a free agent June 1, 2010, Hutton is 94-88-27 with a 2.71 GAA, .909 save percentage and 13 shutouts in 232 games (204 starts) with the Sabres, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks. He has played in three Stanley Cup Playoff games, all for the Predators in 2016.
Dzingel, a 29-year-old forward who was an unrestricted free agent, scored 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in 40 games with the Ottawa Senators and Carolina Hurricanes last season, including nine points (six goals, three assists) in 29 games after he was traded to Ottawa on Feb. 13, for forwards Cedric Paquette and Alex Galchenyuk.
Selected by Ottawa in the seventh round (No. 204) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Dzingel has scored 180 points (82 goals, 98 assists) in 372 regular-season games with the Senators, Hurricanes and Columbus Blue Jackets, and four points (three goals, one assist) in 28 playoff games.
The Coyotes acquired defensemen Anton Stralman from the Florida Panthers on Monday and Shayne Gostisbehere from the Philadelphia Flyers on July 22. They also acquired forwards Loui Eriksson, Jay Beagle and Antoine Roussel from the Vancouver Canucks on Friday for forward Conor Garland and defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
