Caesar art

Looks like the Edmonton Oilers might need to beware the Ides of … May?

Ahead of Game 2 in the Western Conference Second Round between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Oilers on Saturday, the Julius Caesar statue outside of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas was dressed the part.

The statue has a Golden Knights jersey draped over its Roman toga and is holding a giant Golden Knights hockey stick, a show of support for the hometown hockey team.

While the real Caesar might not have had the support of his close allies, he can certainly give it out for his favorite hockey team.
