Isac Lundestrom is expected to be out until at least January for the Anaheim Ducks after recently undergoing surgery for a torn Achilles.
The 23-year-old forward, who had 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in 61 games last season, sustained the injury while running sprints in his native Sweden, according to Norrländska Socialdemokraten.
Selected by Anaheim in the first round (No. 23) of the 2018 NHL Draft, Lundestrom has 58 points (26 goals, 32 assists) in 212 regular-season games.
