ECHL's Jacksonville Icemen to dress like Thanos for Superhero Night
Jets minor-league affiliate will wear gold jerseys, Infinity Gauntlet gloves

For one night the Jacksonville Icemen will be just fine playing the villains.
The ECHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets will don gold jerseys and gloves to look like supervillain Thanos for its Marvel Superhero Night on Friday.

The jerseys and gloves are both gold with details similar to Thanos' armor from the popular "Avengers" movies. The left glove is even made up to replicate the Mad Titan's "Infinity Gauntlet" weapon, which fans would remember from the 2018 blockbuster "Avengers: Infinity War." Unlike other theme nights, where only the jerseys are available for auction, Jacksonville is auctioning both the sweaters and the unique gloves beginning Monday. The auction will run until Jacksonville's home game against Greenville.
