NEW YORK - Vancouver Canucks forward Jake Virtanen has been suspended for two games, without pay, for interference against San Jose Sharks defenseman Roman Polak during NHL Game No. 1148 in Vancouver on Tuesday, March 29, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 2:01 of the second period. Virtanen was assessed a major penalty for interference and game misconduct.
