Colorado Avalanche coach Jared Bednar was being honored this weekend and he brought a new friend home with him to celebrate.
Bednar was inducted into the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Hall of Fame , and he brought the Stanley Cup with him. Before the ceremony, Bednar and the Cup hung out at the fifth annual Conexus Credit Union Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament.

The tournament is held to benefit the Humboldt Broncos Legacy Awards Program . In 2018, a bus crash killed 16 members of the Broncos on their way to a game. Bednar is a native of Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
