back to hockey signs

It's back to the hockey rink for NHL teams, so the Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks pulled out the "Back to Hockey" chalkboards.

Jets, Rangers and Blackhawks players posed with their own spin on the popular back-to-school boards and posted on social media.
The Jets posed with chalkboards that had their age, position, favorite snack, favorite show, favorite artist, what they did this summer and where they grew up written on them.

Most of the players golfed and traveled during the summer, but Pierre-Luc Dubois wrote he spent his summer commenting on Nikolaj Ehlers' Instagram.
Favorite snacks ranged from chips to ice cream. Kyle Connor wrote his favorite snack is goldfish and David Rittich wrote his is just cheese.
"Game of Thrones," "The Office" and "Yellowstone" were the most popular shows among the bunch.

The Rangers had their own version of the sign.
Ryan Reaves held a sign that read he is in his 13th NHL season, his number is 75 and his best friend is his brother, JR.

Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad each wrote the other was their best friend.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane also posed with a first-day sign.
Kane's sign read that he wants to be a "good dad" when he grows up.

Lukas Reichel wrote he wants to be a "soccer player" when he grows up.

The players are ready to drop the puck on a new season!
