The Arizona Coyotes forward is facing discipline for an illegal check to the head of St. Louis Blues forward Zach Sanford.
The incident occurred at 5:11 of the third period during Arizona's 4-1 loss at Gila River Arena on Friday. Larsson received a minor penalty for an illegal check to the head at 6:08. Sanford completed the shift and the remainder of the game.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
