A little bit of string around his legs isn't going to stop Johnny Gaudreau.

The Calgary Flames forward and Pacific Division all-star scored a gorgeous goal, beating Montreal Canadiens and Atlantic Division goalie Carey Price, but to add a degree of difficulty to the proceedings, Gaudreau had a large string seemingly trying to wrangle his legs.
It isn't very noticable on the live broadcast of the play, but when looking at the replay the questions of what exactly it was and how Gaudreau possibly kept his concentration arose.
The forward said he knew where it came from.
"It was on Jack Eichel, it was coming from his jersey, his black jersey, and I ran into him, and it must have gotten stuck on me," Gaudreau said. "I don't know how it happened, but I ended up getting a goal out of it, so that was nice."
Maybe next time, let's see if Gaudreau can score with his skate laces tied together?
[He probably can.]
