STL@LAK: Jon Hamm announces Barbashev's goal

Just because Jon Hamm was making conversation in the St. Louis Blues broadcast booth, that doesn't mean he was going to take his eyes off the action.

Hamm, the Emmy award-winning actor best known for playing Don Draper on the revered television series "Mad Men," called St. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev's third-period goal without missing a beat.
A native of St. Louis and a lifelong Blues fan, Hamm saw Barbashev's goal coming before it even happened, recognizing the 2-on-1 advantage Barbashev and Sammy Blais had going for them against Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick.
Hamm went on to laud Blais' perfect saucer pass and compared Barbashev, a "sparkplug" in the Blues lineup to former forward Ian Laperrière.
The level of knowledge on display should get Hamm an open invitation to the Blues booth again.
