Jon Hamm isn't even really a St. Louis Blues fan anymore, he's practically part of the coaching staff.
Hamm showed up to the Blues game in Vegas on Saturday night and gave about the quickest and coolest lineup reading a celebrity fan could ever hope for. No paper to read from, no drawn out speeches, not even a full name spoken.
That's a 10 out of 10 lineup read. No notes. And of course, with Hamm in the building, Blues forward Ivan Barbashev scored. The team shared a picture of the pair after the game.
Hamm and Barbashev are forever linked in the minds of Blues fans because seemingly everytime Hamm is a guest in the team's broadcast booth, Barbashev immediately scores . In both instances of Hamm helping call the game, he referred to Barbashev as a "sparkplug" right before the goal. Seems like now Hamm doesn't even need to don the headset to get Barbashev on the board. He just needs to show up.
