Los Angeles Kings fans were quick to welcome back their former goalie on Saturday.

New York Rangers goalie Jonathan Quick received a standing ovation during an emotional tribute in his first game back in Los Angeles since being traded in March.

The Kings honored their former goalie with a special tribute video that aired on the Crypto.com Arena video board before their game against the Rangers.

Quick was emotional as he saluted the crowd as Kings fans gave him a loud ovation.

The veteran goalie played 16 seasons with the Kings and is the franchise leader in games played, wins and shutouts. He helped Los Angeles win their two Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and 2014.

In March, he was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets and then to the Vegas Golden Knights one day later. He won his third Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights in June before signing with the Rangers as a free agent in July.
