Josh Anderson will miss the remainder of the season for the Montreal Canadiens because of a high ankle sprain.

The forward was injured in the final minute of a 3-2 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday. Anderson crashed into the net after colliding with Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.
Anderson is third on the Canadiens with 21 goals and had 32 points in 69 games. He has 203 points (122 goals, 81 assists) in 457 regular-season games with Montreal and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The injury was announced after the Canadiens (28-38-6) lost 4-2 at the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Montreal is 15th in the Eastern Conference.
