Ho-Sang, a 21-year-old who made his NHL debut last season, wrote a caption for the photo set that read "Rocking the past, dreaming of the future."
The Islanders shifted from their classic "NY" over a silhouette of Long Island to the fisherman logo before the 1995-96 season, but it was not well received. But two decades later it has found a new life.
In the photos, Ho-Sang is posing with a fan who shows off the back of the unique shirt which features the forward's name and number 66.
