The two-time Norris Trophy winner is just the sixth defenseman in NHL history to record 100 points in a season. He joines Hockey Hall of Famers Paul Coffey, Brian Leetch, Al MacInnis, Bobby Orr and Denis Potvin in that rarified air. Karlsson's previous high was 86 points for the Ottawa Senators during the 2015-16 season.
Karlsson reached the mark by scoring two goals, his 24th and 25th of the season, to go along with 75 assists.
