The Minnesota Wild forward is facing discipline for boarding Los Angeles Kings defenseman Matt Roy on Thursday. The incident occurred at 5:34 of the second period during Minnesota's 5-3 win at Xcel Energy Center. Fiala received a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct. Roy did not play the remainder of the game. The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: boarding. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
