If you're not catching a Los Angeles Kings game at Crypto.com Arena, the next best place to be in Los Angeles is at the beach.

And that's exactly what the city's newest mural shows.
According to the Kings, artist Gustavo Zermeño Jr. painted a new mural on a local optometry office in Downtown Manhattan Beach. The mural shows a family of Kings fans staring at the sunset over Manhattan Beach Pier next to a Kings-themed sand castle. On the other side of the building, Zermeño Jr. painted a giant wave with "Go Kings Go" crashing on the shore as the Kings mascot, Bailey, pilots a plane flying legendary Kings and Los Angeles Lakers banners -- like Wayne Gretzky's, Kobe Bryant's and the Kings' 2011-12 and 2013-14 Stanley Cup championships -- in the sky.

Manhattan Beach mayor Steve Napolitano awarded Beach Cities Optometry a certificate of recognition, congratulating the building and business on its newest display.
The mayor, L.A. Kings ice crew and Bailey were all at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, unveiling the mural to the Manhattan Beach community on Wednesday.
