Hakstol was at Pike Place Fish Market on Thursday, the famous Seattle spot known for fishmongers shouting out customer orders before throwing them great distances across the market and wrapping them to go.
Pike Place Fish Market is a Seattle institution, operating since 1965. The tradition of fish tossing began in 1986 and helped make the shop a must-see tourist attraction.
ESPN analyst Kevin Weekes did a little fish tossing on the
night of the 2021 Expansion Draft
and Kraken analyst JT Brown and ESPN's Dominic Moore also got in on the fun that night. But this time, it was the Kraken coach participating.
Hakstol didn't disappoint when he got his big chance. He showed good form, keeping his eye on the fish the entire flight before using two hands to make the grab.
Executed like a veteran fishmonger.
