The Seattle Kraken hosted their first-ever Stanley Cup Playoff game on Saturday but kept one seat in Climate Pledge Arena empty in memory of NHL.com correspondent Andy Eide.
Eide, a mainstay on the Seattle sports scene for over a decade, died last week after suffering a stroke on March 18. He was 53. The team decided to leave his usual seat in the press box empty for Game 3 in his memory.
