Nikita Kucherov has now pulled this move enough to where we are going to have no choice but to name it.

The Tampa Bay Lightning forward, playing for the Atlantic Division All-Star Team on Sunday afternoon, found himself with an opportunity to go back to the well.
And it worked again.
Kucherov
did that thing he does
, where he lets the puck slide forward off his backhand then quickly moves to a forehand position, but not actually taking the puck with him because the puck is busy sliding past or underneath an unsuspecting goalie and into the net.
While the move is not without precedent, it certainly seems that Kucherov has had the most success with it. This time, the move gave Kucherov a hat trick for the game.
So what is it called?
"I don't have a name for it," Kucherov said. "It just happened. As soon as I got the puck, I was on the right side, so might as well just do it."
Allow us to help in that department. How about the "Sneaky Slider?" Or maybe the "Did I Do That?"
Or maybe, for the sake of simplicity, everyone can just call it "The Kucherov" from now on.
