Lehner_VGK_Congratulations

Just moments after surrendering a series-ending goal, Vegas Golden Knights goalie Robin Lehner had nothing but congratulations for the Montreal Canadiens.

Lehner took to social media to share some thoughts immediately after the game. He shouted out his teammates, Golden Knights fans and his counterpart, Canadiens goalie Carey Price.

Lehner, who made 29 saves in Game 6 on Thursday, couldn't stop Artturi Lehkonen's game-winner, via a beautiful pass from Phillip Danault, from finding the back of the net in overtime. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury started the first three games of the series for the Golden Knights, with Lehner starting Games 4, 5 and 6.
Even after the customary handshake line, Lehner went the extra mile to wish the Canadiens well.
Canadiens defenseman and fellow native of Sweden Erik Gustafsson replied to Lehner's tweet with a heart emoji. Lehner responded in Swedish "Good luck brother." Gustafsson wrote back in Swedish, saying "You're the best brother!"

Just another nice exchange in a series full of them.
