Vasilevskiy's masks have always been innovative, thanks to helmet painter Sylvie Marsolais. She was the first to incorporate color-changing technology on Vasilevskiy's mask in 2016-17. After the Lightning won the 2020 Stanley Cup, Marsolais made a commemorative mask with Vasilevskiy hoisting the Stanley Cup on one side. But Vasilevskiy's mask for 2020-21 will be much spookier, featuring his signature design elements but with a more fierce-looking lion's head with glow-in-the-dark eyes. Sounds like no one will want to be near this helmet during pregame warumps.
