The defending Stanley Cup champions are hoping to share the city with the Super Bowl champions.
The Tampa Bay Lightning wore their Super Bowl Sunday best, showing support for the Buccaneers, on their trip to Nashville. Lightning players exited their plane wearing various Bucs jerseys and weren't shy in support of their football counterparts on social media. Earlier in the day the Lightning tweeted a hype video starring captain Steven Stamkos and forwards Pat Maroon, Mathieu Joseph and Alex Killorn.
The video also showed the team hanging a Buccaneers flag in the hallway of the team facility. Another video shared by the Lightning showed players wearing Bucs jerseys.
