Oskar Lindblom's return to the NHL was inspiring, but his dog Tage made his return home almost as good.
The Philadelphia Flyers forward's mini dachshund mobbed Lindbolm at Stockholm airport while welcoming him back to Sweden on Wednesday. Instagram from @tagethedachs: ❤️ DAD IS BACK ❤️ Lindblom was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a form of bone cancer, in December but battled through chemotherapy and returned for two Stanley Cup Playoff games for the Flyers against the New York Islanders in the Eastern Conference Second Round. Lindblom and the Flyers left the Eastern Conference bubble in Toronto after their seven-game playoff defeat, but seeing his dog's excited reaction had to ease the pain of losing a little.
