The Boston Bruins goaltender showed up in a light green paisley suit when he met the media prior to the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills Presented by DraftKings Sportsbook at FLA Live Arena on Friday.
"As soon as I found out [I was going to the All-Star weekend] I talked to my tailor, Tom Marchitelli from Gentleman's Playbook and I said, 'Hey, we need to come up with something fancy now. It's in Florida and it's my first one,'" said Ullmark. "This is what came up with. Mission accomplished, I would say."
Ullmark's work on the ice this season has been eye-popping as well. The 29-year-old is 26-4-1 with a 1.90 goals-against average, .937 save percentage and two shutouts in 33 games (32 starts).
Ullmark's teammate, forward David Pastrnak was looking pretty stylish as well in dazzling white-and-blue suit. Bruins coach Jim Montgomery wasn't surprised the two were leading the way, fashion-wise.
"You know what? Him and Pasta are the two most colorful dressers I've ever seen," Bruins coach Jim Montgomery said. "I'm jealous because I don't have the courage to wear the stuff they do, and it looks good on them, but it would look awful on me."
