DENVER -- Semyon Varlamov made 32 saves to help the Colorado Avalanche defeat the Los Angeles Kings 4-1 at Pepsi Center on Tuesday.
The Avalanche (7-8-0) got goals from Patrick Wiercioch and Rene Bourque 22 seconds apart in the second period, and Blake Comeau in the third before Gabriel Landeskog scored into an empty net with 1:37 to play.
Colorado hadn't scored four goals since a 4-0 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Oct. 20 in the fourth game of the season.
