The defenseman took a pass from Mats Zuccarello in the slot and deked Kings goalie Cal Petersen.
"I had no clue how much time was on the clock," Dumba said. "I knew it was winding down. I think I saw like 24 seconds or something when we were down in our zone. I knew it was getting down there, but I had no real clue. Yeah, then you get swarmed by the fellas. That's a feeling that if anyone gets to experience [it], it's one of the best."
Kaapo Kahkonen made 25 saves to win his fifth consecutive start for Minnesota (12-6-0), which has its longest winning streak since a 12-game streak Dec. 4-29, 2016, the longest in its history.
"Everybody's chipping in," Wild forward Kevin Fiala said. "Six-game winning streak, so it's awesome. It's been awesome. It's been fun being around the rink and everybody's done a great job. All the lines are playing great, I feel like, all the defensemen, the goalies are awesome. Everybody's very happy, so we just have to keep rolling."
Drew Doughty and Adrian Kempe each had a goal and an assist, and Petersen made 38 saves for Los Angeles (9-7-4), which scored three straight goals to tie the game. Anze Kopitar had two assists.
"We were disappointed we got into that hole again, but the team stuck with it and clawed their way back in right to the last second," Kings coach Todd McLellan said after being swept in the back-to-back set, losing 3-1 here Friday. "It's a good sign for our group. It's not a good sign that we're falling behind right now. We've got some things ahead of us that we have to work on.
"In any case, we probably earned a point tonight and lost two, so [we] got what we likely deserve."
