Cal Petersen is expected to start for Los Angeles, which defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-2 in overtime Saturday. Petersen is 4-4-1 with a 2.57 goals-against average and .927 save percentage.
Vegas, which lost 4-3 in overtime to the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, is 6-0-1 in its past seven home games. Coach Gerard Gallant did not commit to a starting goalie, but Malcolm Subban is expected to start.

Kings forward Ilya Kovalchuk scored two goals in his return to the lineup Saturday after missing 10 games with an ankle injury.
Golden Knights forward Brandon Pirri has three goals in two games since being recalled from Chicago of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.
