"It was a very hard-fought game," Kings captain Anze Kopitar said. "They're a very good home team, so we know coming in it was going to be tough and it was. I thought we played pretty well. There's obviously still room in a bunch of areas we can improve on and play better, but at the end of the day, we'll take the point.
"It's a tough back-to-back, and three out of the four points in two nights, it's not bad. We'll take it."
Los Angeles defeated Minnesota 4-3 in overtime Monday.
Jets forward Patrik Laine left the game after he injured his left foot blocking a shot by Kings defenseman Alec Martinez 1:09 into the second period. Laine's 15-game point streak (18 goals, eight assists), the longest by a teenager in NHL history, came to an end.
"We'll see how it comes in, but we've already had him looked in a couple of different ways, there's nothing sinister," Jets coach Paul Maurice said.
