Maple Leafs annual outdoor practice draws crowd, dogs

There was a lot happening at the Toronto Maple Leafs outdoor practice on Thursday and at one point things got a little ruff.

A pair of pups were among those in attendance at the team's annual excursion to Nathan Phillips Square. The visit made for some incredibly cute photos.

Not that the backdrop of the Toronto skyline wasn't enough to set the scene as fans flocked to see their favorite team.

The Maple Leafs also invited their fellow hockey squad, PWHL Toronto, to participate in the festivities.

And Maple Leafs forward Simon Benoit did a brief social media takeover, showing off his new shades.

Regardless of the weather, it was a beautiful day in Toronto.
