Fleury made a full-extension lunging glove save that robbed Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nic Petan late in the third period of the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 win.
With Vegas leading 3-2, Fleury lost sight of Ilya Mikheyev's initial shot that hit the crossbar. Petan found the puck and flung a backhand shot toward the empty net, but Fleury dove and caught it, keeping the Golden Knights up with 3:43 left.
"It was fun, a little lucky because I didn't stop the first one. It was off the crossbar," Fleury told the Golden Knights website. "It's good when you get the second opportunity to redeem yourself."
The crowd reacted with a standing ovation. Mikheyev couldn't believe it, and Vegas defenseman Nicolas Hague even appeared dumbfounded that Fleury stopped it.
"I just enjoyed it, got a little giggle, a little smile. I was happy it didn't go in," Fleury said. "Those are the saves you love to play for. It's fun to do."
The stop was the best of Fleury's 31 saves that clinched his 450th NHL win.
