MIN@BOS: Boldy finishes rush for first career goal

If you think the video of Minnesota Wild rookie forward Matt Boldy's goal on Thursday was something to see, you should check out his family's reaction.

Boldy, a native of Milford, Massachusetts, was selected by the Wild with the No. 12 pick in the 2019 NHL Draft out of Boston College. He was already living a dream making his NHL debut in TD Garden against the Boston Bruins.
But with 7:34 to play in the second period, Boldy buried a pretty pass from Marcus Foligno for his first NHL goal. While he was celebrating down on the ice with his teammates, his family was going wild in the stands.
The team shared the beautiful moment on social media.

Earlier in the night, the Wild sent Boldy and another player making is NHL debut, forward Marco Rossi the 9th selection of the 2020 NHL Draft],out for the customary rookie solo lap.

The Wild also had their meme game going following the win.
