Boldy, a native of Milford, Massachusetts, was selected by the Wild with the No. 12 pick in the 2019 NHL Draft out of Boston College. He was already living a dream making his NHL debut in TD Garden against the Boston Bruins.
But with 7:34 to play in the second period, Boldy buried a pretty pass from Marcus Foligno for his first NHL goal. While he was celebrating down on the ice with his teammates, his family was going wild in the stands.
The team shared the beautiful moment on social media.
