PHILADELPHIA-- Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray left the game with 2:35 left in the first period against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday.
Flyers forward Brayden Schenn cut through the crease with the puck and took a shot that Murray stopped, but Schenn's leg collided with Murray's head, knocking off the rookie goalie's mask. Murray, who is 7-0-0 with a 2.10 goals-against average and .923 save percentage in his past seven games, was examined by the medical staff on the ice then escorted up the tunnel into the locker room.
