The forward scored 21 points (12 goals, nine assists) in 16 games. He missed 17 games with a lower-body injury sustained Oct. 14.
Pacioretty played 17:24 in a 6-3 win at the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, just below his season average of 17:56.
The Golden Knights (22-12-0) have won seven of their past eight games after a 3-1 win against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.
The Golden Knights had defenseman Alex Pietrangelo in the lineup; he was removed from NHL COVID-19 protocol after missing two games.
"When you think of Alex's leadership on and off the ice, he plays big minutes, he plays in every situation," Vegas assistant Steve Spott said. "He really is one of our true leaders. It's great to have him back."

also returned to the lineup after entering protocol at the same time as Pietrangelo. Dadonov played right wing in place of captain Mark Stone, who is on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
