"Heading into this next season with Terry's courage, hard work and determination top of mind," McDavid said on his social media posts.
The collection is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first Terry Fox Run, held in his honor. Fox was a multisport athlete who had one leg amputated because of cancer. His trek across Canada was to raise money for cancer research. It lasted 143 days and he traveled more than 3,300 miles before his cancer returned and forced him to stop. He died at the age of 22 and is regarded as a Canadian hero.
All of the net proceeds from the sale of the collection, which is available in Canada, will benefit the Terry Fox Foundation.
