Boldy hats

After scoring his second hat trick in eight days, Matt Boldy had a surprise waiting for him on the team plane.

The Minnesota Wild forward propelled his team to a 5-1 win over the Seattle Kraken with three goals on Monday, and the pilots that are flying the team to Colorado to start the road trip showed their appreciation.
Waiting on Boldy's seat were three hats stacked in a triangle: two pilot hats as the base and a Wild cap on top.

The Wild -- winners of four of their last five -- start a two-game road trip on Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche before heading to Las Vegas to take on the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday.
Apparently Boldy's hot streak has even gotten him a new nickname -- Matt trick.
